SHIPPING

NPE determines the most cost effective and safest method of freight in order to ensure items are trackable, they are received quickly and damage free.

 SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA

All prices on our site are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD), and will be charged in Australian Dollars. Shipping within Australia will take approximately 3 - 5  working days. For delivery within Australia we use TNT Express or the customer's nominated courier service.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY

National Petroleum Equipment ships to most destinations around the world using TNT Express trackable service for all our international orders. International customers are welcome to use the courier of their choice! Please note: we do not deliver to international PO BOX addresses. For our international customers, all prices on our site are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD), and will be charged in Australian Dollars and GST exclusive. Prices do not include relevant overseas customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed and this is the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs office for further information.

HOW MUCH WILL POSTAGE AND PACKAGING COST?

For delivery within Australia the indicated freight cost upon check out on the NPE website is an estimate only and is based on a package of approx. 1-5Kg and dimensions of 30x30x30cm. This will be honoured as much as possible but Australia is a big place and in locations such as TAS, WA, NT and even QLD the prices can vary wildly so the freight fee might change. Sometimes the freight fee is less! It depends on the dimensions and weight of the item purchased. If unsure, please contact NPE for an exact freight cost. Else you will be contacted by NPE if the freight charge is considered excessive or much different to the checkout freight cost.

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

Yes you can! On the day that your order is shipped, you will receive an email direct from TNT confirming its despatch which will include a tracking link so that you can follow your order’s journey right from the moment it leaves us and arrives to you.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

For domestic delivery, you should receive your order within 3 -5 working days. If your order has not arrived within the allotted time, please contact the shipping company, using the reference number supplied to you or contact NPE.

For International delivery, you should receive your order within 10-15 working days depending on location. If your order has not arrived within the allotted time, please contact the shipping company, using the reference number supplied to you or contact NPE.

A signature will be required on delivery, so please make sure that you provide a delivery address where someone will be available to receive your goods. If no one is available to sign for the goods, the parcel will have to be collected from the nearest TNT depot.

 If you have special instructions relating to the delivery, please be sure to indicate these when required on the delivery comments page as you are checking out.

WHAT IS NPE'S POLICY ON EXCHANGE AND REFUNDS?

Our ‘Change of Mind’ Policy

National Petroleum Equipment is not legally obligated to give refunds off the purchase price on items or exchange them simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase.  

Special custom made items or items purchased which are outsourced by NPE for you, are non-returnable.

 

Our customers’ right to a refund of purchase price

Our customers are entitled to a refund if the item is faulty, damaged or not fit for its purpose.  Our policy under these circumstances is:

You (the customer) is entitled to a refund for items you purchase from National Petroleum Equipment if the item is:

 (a)           Faulty and the fault or defect was not pointed out to you before you purchased it or would not have been apparent to you when you inspected the goods before purchase; or

(b)            Damaged, meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item; or

(c)            Not fit for its purpose, meaning that the item does not do what you reasonably expected it would;

National Petroleum Equipment reserves the right to ask you to demonstrate that you did not cause or create the fault in the item.

If you are entitled to a refund but you would prefer to exchange the item of equivalent value to the item, National Petroleum Equipment is happy to do this for you.

For online customers, the Refund Policy also applies; however please note the following terms and conditions:

We recommend you send your goods back using a trackable delivery service as we do not accept responsibility for items lost in transit. Once we receive your parcel we will process your return. Refunds will be credited against your original method of payment.
